Yesterday I published the following as my facebook status:
I have officially turned into Mr. Hand from Fast Times At Ridgemont High.
Know why? Because everyone in my (real) life seems to be ON DOPE! Seriously. I know it's the end of the semester and the holidays and all, but could everyone just keep it together for a bit longer?
Ok. Rant over. Thanks, I feel much better.
Instead of focusing on all the crazy, let's look at pictures of what Dean's been up to this week.
His G-Mama sent all his Christmas and Birthday gifts very early this year, so we have lots and lots of boxes lying around the house. I have found them to be quite useful for entertaining the toddler while I cook, load the dishwasher and pick Cheerios up off the floor.
(All these pictures are from my cell phone, by the way, which is why they're so small.)
Since our herb and veggie garden is just about done for the winter, Dean's taken an interest in yard work of another sort:
Marcus and I encourage this hobby wholeheartedly.
Here he is with the cute black curlydog from across the street:
Now if I were this black curlydog, I would run for the hills every time I saw anyone exit our house in case the crazy toddler screaming "A DOOOOOOOOOG! GO, DOG, GO!" was with them. But no. She's too sweet. She trots up and rolls over so we can scratch her belly and sits patiently while Dean hugs her and drools on her fur. She's a good puppy.
Dean and I are still doing a crafty thing a day to prepare for Christmas. Lessons and discussions this week have included "Santa says 'Ho Ho Ho'", "We sing Christmas carols" and "We don our gay apparel." Here he is making out his Christmas list and decorating it twice:
How 'bout that big boy haircut? Mama no like. Where is my tiny baby boy? Wah.
And finally, because I really have nowhere else to go, here's a picture of me with a yeti. The play we saw last week had a yeti in it and if that doesn't scream PHOTO OP, I don't know what does.
Great pictures Jen! Hope the people in your life soon learn that crack is whack! love to you and the family! --Logan

Keaton has had two big boy haircuts, one at 10 months and another at 18. That will be all for him until he is 7 or 8, I think.
Kudos on the Christmas project! All I'm doing is letting them eat a piece of chocolate from their chrismas calender every day. Bad mom.

I am not sure I am ready for boy hair cuts. AJU5 has had two cuts - at 19 months and 23 months. She will need her bangs trimmed again soon, but other than that, she should be good for some time. Boys tend to need them more and probably like them less... Hopefully AJU6 will stay bald for a while :)
Love the picture of Dean with the puppy - I bet it loves the attention! Maybe it thinks Dean is just another puppy?
