Oh, this brings back so many great memories! Wish I could tell you which one is you in that last picture. It's hard to tell from the back! Can't wait for the post about your first game. :) We still have the shiny if you want to try it on!!

I absolutely love that your diary had (has?) a name.

Oh girl, yet another similarity we have. I did the whole cheer/dance competition thing all through school. The early morning summertime practices to beat the heat, oh yes. (Sometimes we'd even sleep in our practice clothes so we wouldn't have to get up any earlier than absolutely necessary.) I have a storage tote full of pompoms somewhere in the basement. I keep them just in case the opportunity arises for a spontaneous dance routine to Kool Moe Dee's Wild Wild West.

Look at you! I want video.

I'm so glad Susan and Gil gave you back when they moved to Washington. We'd have missed you. ;)

Lucky you!! My high school didn't have a dance team and I sure as heck wasn't going to audition for a cheerleader spot...I wish they'd had a dance team! How awesome!

I LOVE this post! The plastic shorts, the arrow, the hair bows....awesome. Who said white girls can't dance!?

I know the girl to the far right in the first picture. Her mom owns Peggy's Dance Studio, the dance studio I went to when I was a little girl. :) Her name was Christy or Chrissy I believe.
