This week has been an emotional roller coaster. I have several topics and possible posts brewing in my head, but I can't seem to sit long enough to compose a coherent post. Allow me, then, to share with you some things that have brought me smiles this week.
*One of my favorite young actors just got cast in his first regional tour! Several of our students are heading off to work summer theatre jobs and others are graduating and beginning their careers. I'm a proud mama.
*Our air conditioner broke over the weekend, but the repairman found that it was just frozen up, so it was an easy fix. The best part? NO CHARGE.
*Marcus made my favorite summertime grilled chicken for dinner tonight, accompanied by my favorite side dish ever. There was also a loaf of french bread involved. I am so excited to eat grilled food all summer long.
*I go back to work next week for the Southern Writers Project, a festival of new plays. I love working on new plays and am looking quite forward to this project this year.

You can't tell in this photo, but the sunglasses are ALL he's wearing. That's right--everyone's favorite pantsless toddler has become a full-on stripper. Every time he needs a diaper change, he strips all the way down and brings me his diaper. (Fortunately, just the wet ones so far.) Needless to say, we've started potty training.
That's my new lightweight headset. It is lovely and doesn't squeeze my head in painful ways like the ones the theatre owns.
Dean has rekindled his love affair with the blueberry Eggo waffle. Here he is enjoying one on our couch.

Look at Deano strikin' that model pose!! Very suave. I think I see a future career forming... only maybe with clothes. I'm not sure how I'd feel about him being a Playgirl centerfold when he grows up.
