Rang in the new year with my college buddies, including a sickly Marcus. (He had a New Year's cold.) Y2K didn't get us after all. But at my mother's urging, we filled the bathtub with water JUST IN CASE.
Finished my MFA, started my first "real" job in upstate NY.
Experienced my first real snowstorm. Couldn't dig my car out of the snow for 2 weeks. Went to Poland. Finally got my wisdom teeth removed (not in Poland).
Went to Disney World with Kitty. Did a bunch of shows.
Bid upstate NY farewell and moved to the Big Apple. Worked on my first Broadway show. Spent my first Christmas away from my family.
Spent 7 weeks in Alaska. Worked on my second Broadway show. Lost my grandpa.
 Pregnancy. Mom's kidney transplant.
 DEAN!!!!!! Also, moved to Montevallo.
Motherhood, teaching, writing, vacation, cooking, warm weather, coffee.
All in all, I'd say it was a pretty spectacular decade.
Happy New Year to you and yours.
